Home renovations are not for everyone.  I personally, love hunting down tile, selecting vanity pulls, and deciding between brushed nickel and oiled rubbed bronze faucet finishes.  This would be some people’s nightmare.  I am also ok with having my life temporarily disrupted for over a month when having a bathroom gutted.  Are you?

Think about this when searching for a home.  You might be better off buying a home that is newer or that has already had updates made to it.  You will pay more, but that might be the right choice for you.

This Cape style home located in Fairfield Connecticut was built in the late 1900’s. The 975 sf first floor consists of a dining room, Living room, Kitchen, Bedroom, Hall bath. The 417 sf second floor consists of two bedrooms and a hall bath.

Scope of Work

The renovation and additions will expand the home by 545 sf.

The first floor will be reconfigured to provide a Family room with fireplace, Dining room, Office, Mudroom Powder room, Kitchen and covered porch with fireplace.

The second floor will have three bedrooms with three full baths and a laundry room.
